- I'm born-again (1 John) - I am saved by grace alone, through faith alone (Eph. 2:8). The Law showed me my sinfulness (Rom. 7:7-12), thus my need for a savior, and even though I feel that I made the choice to follow Him, I know that the Bible teaches me that He chose me, and sustains me - it is not by my own power but truly by the grace of God that I am saved.
